Reading day (education)

Once a month I try to take a reading day at the library, either at my local neighborhood library or the seminary library across campus. Most of my reading on that day consists of pulling journals and periodicals off the shelf to catch up on the most current writing and thinking on areas of interest.

Here are periodicals I’ve found worth consulting to keep up in the field of education:

Adult Education Quarterly
Adult Learning
Child Development
Childhood Education
Church Educator
Curriculum Journal
The Journal of Biblical Storytelling
Journal of Curriculum & Supervision
Journal of Developmental Education
Journal of Education and Christian Belief
Journal of Education for Teaching
Journal of Education Psychology
The Journal of Experiential Education
The Journal of Moral Education
Journal of Philosophy of Education
Journal of Religious Education
Journal of Research of Christian Education
Oxford Review of Education
Religion Teacher’s Journal
Religious Education
Teachers and Teaching: Theory and Practice
Teaching Theology and Religion

What are some educational periodicals (journals and magazines) you find helpful?
