So you want to start a blog?

I am thrilled to be a part of this blog team! I started my own blog a few years ago (which needs much TLC) and have been an advocate for blogging since. Along my journey, I have inspired individuals and groups to create and maintain a blog and have tried to give good advice on putting up content. Creating a blog is easy with free blog hosts like WordPress and I would encourage you to follow the link to begin your own journey.

However, recording your thoughts might need a little help in order to establish readership. Jessica Ek wrote a blog entry “Blog Advice from Winnie the Pooh” that is a must read. I found this from a source in my RSS reader (Flock) who quoted someone who referenced this work. Did you follow that? Well, it really isn’t that important but I wanted to let you know how I discovered this nugget. I first read the qouted blog entry and went to the orginal entry. I read the comments of the orginal entry which led me to the post I am commenting on. I have not commented on any of the blog entries I am citing but you can believe they will find me and this post. Visit all of them, add them to your RSS reader or bookmark them and keep up on the latest in blogging technology.

If you need more help with setting up a blog or have a question, leave it here and we will try to provide an answer.
