Brain Week: Biology of the soul

The final entry for ”Brain Week” is a video of a 2007 roundtable discussion on the topic of “Mind, Brain, and Spirituality: Toward a Biology of the Soul” featuring Martin Bergmann, Siri Hustvedt, Jaak Panksepp, David Pincus, and theolgianThandeka.

You can view the roundtable discussion here.

As we close out ”Brain Week” we can’t resist passing along the Mammarian Brain Collections website from the University of Wisconsis, Michagan State University, and the National Museum of Health and Science. Frome the site: ”This web site provides browsers with images and information from one of the world’s largest collection of well-preserved, sectioned and stained brains of mammals. Viewers can see and download photographs of brains of over 100 different species of mammals (including humans) representing over 20 Mammalian Orders.”
