I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m not a big fan of the graphic arts as \u00e2\u20ac\u009dperformance art.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d My early cognitive mapping related to art seems to have created a taxonomy that wants something to be one thing or the other, but not both. It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s either art or it isn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t; it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s \u00e2\u20ac\u009dcraft\u00e2\u20ac\u009d or high art; it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a painting or a sculpture; it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a drawing or a painting. Obviously, I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m not a big fan of \u00e2\u20ac\u009dmixed media,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and photorealistic Photoshop creations launches me into a philosophical aesthetical inner debate about whether what I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m looking at is \u00e2\u20ac\u009dart\u00e2\u20ac\u009d or not.  <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>But a friend sent me this link to <a href=\"http:\/\/joecastillo.blip.tv\/\">Joe Castillo\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s <\/a>site. As far as performance art, it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s pretty good. Nice use of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Synesthesia_in_art\">synesthesia<\/a> and the \u00e2\u20ac\u009dfinger painting\u00e2\u20ac\u009d medium is very cool.
