Let me share them with you.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;May the Lord bless you and keep you.<br \/>\nMay the Lord make his face to shine upon you<br \/>\nand be gracious to you.<br \/>\nMay God give you grace never to sell yourself short;<br \/>\nGrace to risk something big for something good;<br \/>\nGrace to remember that the world is now<br \/>\ntoo dangerous for anything but truth<br \/>\nand too small for anything but love.<\/p>\n<p>So may God take your mind and think through it;<br \/>\nMay God take your voice and sing through it;<br \/>\nMay God take your heart and set it on fire!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>and&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Go now and serve God doing things<br \/>\nthat God needs you to do:<br \/>\nSinging songs for God;<br \/>\nCreating beautiful things for God;<br \/>\nGiving things up for God;<br \/>\nTelling God what&#8217;s on your mind<br \/>\nand in your heart;<br \/>\nRejoicing in God<br \/>\nand making a fool of yourself for God,<br \/>\nthe way lovers have always made fools of themselves<br \/>\nfor the one they love.&#8221; (modified)<\/p>\n<p>Share benedictions (yours or others) that are meaningful to you!<\/p>\n<p><img src='http:\/\/grace-ed.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/05\/martybannernew.jpg' alt='martybannernew.jpg' \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m a Frederick Buechner fan and particularly like two benedictions that he has written.
