I love Easter Vigil, but it always makes me bit nervous when we have all those tapers lit through out the church- hope the fire marshall doesn't see us then! Now, we could go get a ton of those battery -operated votives...NAW! Great ideas to do at the beginning of Lent! I'm passing them on the the Liturgy Committee where i work as a Music Director- i'm finding gems in gather Comp2 and OCP's Spirit and Song Books 1 & 2 - We are using Matt Maher's Kyrie this year. We are also singing the Prayer of the Faithful and I thought to use the last line of Becker's Litany of the Saints as our response "Christ hear us, Lord Jesus Hear our prayer" Nice to be able to utilize that piece more!
